The UK & Ireland User Group is a community in which 4000 valued SAP users from 500 companies join to exchange opinions, knowledge and best practice. Networking is also facilitated which is an enabler for more and better business.

By bringing together the users and the mother company, UKISUG is a two-way canal. It provides a collective voice for the users in which SAP knows firsthand what is expected by them and how to further develop its products and services whilst being a direct channel of communication to the customers.

Many events are held by this organization throughout the year including Symposiums, Special Interest Group meeting and various Webinars. The main event is the Annual Conference, UKISUG: Connect. This year’s headline was ‘Spectrum: Connected – UKISUG 2015’ and Ábaco was present for the first time. Represented by Cristina Carvalho we had the opportunity of showcasing our solutions and expertise to the various players present. We were also able to get to know their businesses and portfolio of solutions and developed products.

“Besides the great networking, there were a series of seminars and workshops, promoted by SAP and sponsors, that were extremely interesting and approached several themes such as S/4Hana, Success Factors, User Experience and many more, all of which aim digital transformation, celerity and innovation.” –  Cristina Carvalho, New Markets Manager

Definitely new bonds were formed from which we expect new and exciting business to happen in the near future.

We, Ábaco, would like to mention the precious help from our partner Global Software Inc. that provided us with the opportunity of being part of such conference. Fruit of our longtime partnership in Portugal, we have already a series of success cases in implementing their solution,Spreadsheet Server, which provides live reporting and analysis from SAP data into Excel. Special thanks to Larry Cutchi, Managing Director – EMEA / APAC Region, who was the point of contact to making it all possible.
